I’m a freelance journalist focusing on green business and policy. Most recently I’ve been contributing to The New York Times Green Inc. blog, as well as to the Times business section.
Over the last 15 years, my articles have been published in Mother Jones (where I worked as an editorial fellow and wrote a green-living column called “Home Planet”), Audubon, the International Herald Tribune, The Sacramento Bee, House Beautiful, Salon, Spin, Utne Reader and Working Woman. I was also a staff writer at California Energy Markets, where I covered renewable energy and municipal utilities.
After graduating from Occidental College in Los Angeles I worked for ABC News in London and Prognosis Newspaper in Prague.
I now live in San Francisco.
